Consider a house for a family of four. The project is planned on a slightly rectangular site facing a narrow residential street in a dense residential area in the city center. The design was based on the theme of distance between three areas: the road, a place for four family members to gather, and a personal place for each family member.
Several walls parallel to the street are arranged so that the façade facing the street proliferates in layers toward the interior. The interior space is divided into layers, and family life is progressively separated from the everyday life of the outside world. A rather wide corridor facing the street side, a dining and living room for the family of four placed on the side farthest from the street, and individual living rooms given between the two, these layers overlap to form a gradation from the street to the dining table. The residents' lines of flow move between the street side and the dining table side (outside and inside, activity and rest, town and home...), as if passing through a veil, as they go about their daily lives.
